All Work No Sleep!

When the lyricist formerly known as Nomadic realized his destiny was to reign supreme, he transformed himself from a wanderer to a ruler and Czar Black was sired. Born Taj Ali in Miami, Florida to a gospel singer, and a family full of musical talent and influence, Czar Black's gift of vernacular showed itself at a young age through witty, rhythmic and metaphoric wordplay.

These skills awarded him the honor of being named the 2004 freestyle champion for The Source Unsigned Hype/AND 1 Mix tape series as well as being crowned by DJ Bigga Rankins of Cool Runnings/ Hittmenn DJs/Core Dj's as “Freestyle King”, due to an array of battle victories.

Both, an accomplished Songwriter, Producer and self taught musical dynamo, Czar was fortunate to have a seat at the head of the class as he was mentored by many industry heavy weights including Professor Griff of the group, Public Enemy, and Mr.Mixx of 2 Live Crew.

Being signed to a label at the age of 13, he paid his dues by taking advantage of the machine he had at his disposal and tailored his craft by participating in freestyle battles up and down the coast, most of which he demolished. Czar taught himself not only to blend “New York Style” hip-hop with the gritty, club friendly “Southern Style”, but also to expand into beat making and production. Czar learned and developed the use of live instruments in his music at an early age.

Czar developed an interest in drums and taught himself how to play. By the time he was 9, his father began teaching him to play bass. Only four short years later he was 0ffered a deal with a subsidiary of Luke Records called Effect Records. This 13 year old was solidifying his place in hip-hop with peers and label mates such as Poison Clan and Tony MF Rock.

Czar then known as Spade was eventually signed to another staple on the Miami/Ft.Lauderdale music scene, 4 Sight Records at age 16. As a producer the multi-faceted entertainer has turned out records for the likes of Capelton, Sizzla, LouieCulture Simple Simon, Beanie Man, The Getsome Crew, Mr.Easy,Wayne Wonder and more.

Utilizing his talents to ghostwrite and produce earned him the respect of his colleagues while still traveling the country incorporating his mesh of musical regions into his lyrical styling; Czar Black quickly became a main stay in the hip-hop scene. Known not only for his unique “Up North/Dirty South” style but also, for his knack for live performances.

With a range that spans singing and rapping and also his ability to extemporaneously freestyle in depth lyrics that most rappers could never imagine writing.

Relocating to Jacksonville, FL. Forming Black Glove Entertainment,And Extortion Team Inc., An independent label/Production Team based out of Miami Florida, the years of the underground grind had finally run its course and things began to take a new turn.

Having released his first independent release “The Black History” on Black Glove/CorporateHood Entertainment which received critical acclaim from peers and public alike, and Hot single You can get it on Down Under Entertainment.
